Support PDLT's #GivingTuesday Pee Dee Campaign

We hope you will choose to support your local land trust today by making a tax-deductible contribution on #GivingTuesday.  Pee Dee Land Trust is proud to partner with the Eastern Carolina Community Foundation and the 31 additional local non-profits  to celebrate a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.

We invite you to securely donate online using the below PayPal button or come visit us in person from 1:00-6:00pm at the Florence Civic Center.  Pee Dee Land Trust will have a booth set-up, along with all the other participating non-profits, to give visitors a chance to learn more about the impact our conservation community is making to preserve the past and ensure the future of special places throughout the Pee Dee watershed.  This is a free event, open to the public, and will be a fun time to celebrate the amazing efforts of all the organizations serving our community.  There will be a photo booth, games, entertainment and prizes throughout the afternoon.

We are happy to accept all donations as part of our #GivingTuesday Campaign.  For each gift of $35 or more, donors will receive a one-year Membership for Pee Dee Land Trust.  After all, membership has its privileges: not only do our members receive priority invitations and discounted prices to our events – including the Bountiful Brunch and Oyster Roast fundraisers  – but you will be supporting a growing organization that works hard to:

  • Collaborate with other local, regional, and statewide groups to protect and preserve the places we love.  To date, we have helped protect 66 properties encompassing over 27,000 acres across all our 9 focus counties in the Pee Dee and we have some very exciting projects in the works;
  • Facilitate and promote local, sustainable agriculture such as through our farm to table fundraiser and Farm to Food Bank program;
  • Preserve our working farm and forest lands for their traditional uses so that future generations will enjoy them for many years to come;
  • Preserve land along riparian areas, ensuring the quality of our drinking water supply;
  • Provide access to and information about the many unique treasures we have in our region, including Oxbow Lakes, Carolina Bays, and Cypress Swamps

For every $50 dollars donated (in person or online through our #GivingTuesday link on our website) to Pee Dee Land Trust on November 28, you will receive (1) one entry into a drawing to win two (2) Tickets to the 2018 PDLT Oyster Roast at the Hobcaw Barony in Georgetown on February 10, 2018!!!  Our annual Oyster Roast sells out to Members within a few days of invitations being mailed, so this could be your chance to join us this year and celebrate the year-round efforts of Pee Dee Land Trust.
