In response to long-sustained interest in history and nature along with a resurgence of interest in the agricultural productivity of the region, Pee Dee Land Trust (PDLT) has been established to take direct, specific actions to protect the places that are important to us. Primarily, PDLT uses voluntary conservation easement agreements to achieve land conservation objectives. We have entered into these agreements with landowners to protect over 24,918 acres of land across the region.

Pee Dee Land Trust has reprinted an updated copy of its Landowner Easement Guide thanks to the support of Duke Energy. This valuable resource is fully updated with 2015 tax guidelines on the state and federal level. Download a copy of our Guide to Land Protection and Conservation Easements
