Little Pee Dee Paddle & Lunch at Ark Lodge

22 Pee Dee Land Trust supporters joined us Saturday, November 12, 2016 for a paddle down the magnificent lower Little Pee Dee River. We put in at Pits Landing just off Hwy 378 in Conway and ended at the historic Ark Lodge in Marion County. We enjoyed lunch at the beautiful Ark Lodge property thanks to our sponsor Gwen Strickland and our host Francis Ervin. This beautiful property abuts the Woodbury Wildlife Management Area, permanently protected by DNR.

Paddlers with all types of experience were welcome on this beautiful trip through majestic cypress swamps and bottomland hardwood forests of the Little Pee Dee.

A special thank you to Naturally Outdoors for providing the kayaks and Paul Shaw for guiding the experience.
