20th Annual Oyster Roast

Pee Dee Land Trust held its annual Oyster Roast on Saturday February 28, 2026 at Beneventum in Georgetown, SC hosted by Janet and Buddy Brand.  The sold out event attended by 650 supporters gave guests the opportunity to stroll through the majestic oaks, draped with Spanish moss and enjoy some of the best hot oysters and Lowcountry fare to be found anywhere. From boat rides to hayrides and the sounds of live bluegrass filling the air, the experience was  truly magical on this property dating back to the 1750s.  The 20^th annual oyster roast was not only a time to raise important funds to continue our work, but also a celebration of the partnership between the Brand family and PDLT to permanently protect Beneventum forever through a conservation easement. We would like to thank all of the sponsors, volunteers, guests and especially the Brand family for hosting this wonderful day.
